Donal Crowley

Donal is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained with EY in Cork and was appointed Company Secretary and Financial Controller in 1996 and Deputy CEO in November 2017. He is a Director of a number of Port subsidiary Companies and a Pension Trustee.

He previously held senior management positions with three multi-national Companies operating in Cork.

Capt. Paul O’Regan

Captain Paul O’Regan joined the Port of Cork Company in 2005 as a Pilot. Paul was appointed as Deputy Harbour Master in 2008, before taking up his current role in 2013 as Harbour Master and Chief Operations Officer.

Paul is the current President of the International Harbour Masters Association, which is an international association of Harbour Masters and Port managers that are committed to safeguarding safety and enhancing port operations.

Prior to working at the port, Paul studied Nautical Science at Munster Technological University. He also undertook the High Potentials Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, before qualifying in Business Finance and the Irish Management Institute.

Henry Kingston

Henry has been working with the Port of Cork Company since 2004. He joined the company as a Senior Engineer, Maintenance Manager, Safety Officer, and in 2018, he progressed to Port Engineering Manager. In 2022, he began his current role as Chief Land and Development Officer.

Prior to this, he worked as a Marine Engineering Officer for Northern Marine Management / Stena, and Staff Chief Engineer and Technical Project Manager with Sun Cruises.

Henry studied Marine Engineering at Munster Technological before also studying at University College Cork for an MBA in Business Administration.

Conor Mowlds

Conor Mowlds is the Chief Commercial Officer of the Port of Cork Company, responsible for the development and implementation of the Port’s commercial strategy, including its integrated business development, marketing and public relations activities.

Conor has held various shore positions in both the public and private sectors in the UK and Ireland in policy development, education, vessel operations, safety management and business development. Prior to taking up his current role he served as the Head of the National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI), the country’s joint civilian / naval maritime training, education & research institution. Conor has held a seat as a Council Member on the Board of the Irish Chamber of Shipping (ICOS) and is the serving Chairperson of Cruise Ireland. Conor is a graduate in Maritime Business & Law (Southampton), holds post-grad qualifications in business development, marketing, strategic management, and marine quality & safety systems and is a Fellow of the Institute of Logistics & Transport (FCILT).

Peter O’Shaughnessy

Peter is Chief Human Resource Officer and Head of HR at the Port of Cork Company. With over 10 years Director level experience with Ibec, Peter has also worked as Head of HR for both MJ Group and Gernord Limited. Since 2011, Peter has been a visiting Lecturer in Management and HR Development at University College Cork.

Peter studied Management at Kingston University and received a Master’s in HR Development at the University of Westminster specialising in Employment Law. Peter is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (Chartered FCIPD) and a Fellow of the Learning & Development Institute (FL&DI).

Tim Murphy

Tim is the Head of Port Engineering at the Port of Cork Company, having originally joined as a Civil Engineer and Project and Development Engineer. He joined the Port in 2015 following a 20-year career in the contracting industry, with particular experience in delivering large civil, marine and energy infrastructural projects.
